Overview
Morning Report is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support executives and teams with scheduling, communications, and day-to-day operations. You’ll coordinate calendars and meetings, prepare docs and notes, manage travel and expenses, and keep our remote-friendly workplace running smoothly. This role is ideal for a proactive organizer who loves turning chaos into clarity.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings across time zones, and prep agendas/briefs
- Handle correspondence: inbox triage, draft responses, coordinate internal/external communications
- Organize meetings and events (virtual & in-person), including logistics, rooms/links, and follow-up notes
- Arrange travel, lodging, and itineraries; process reimbursements and track expenses
- Maintain documents, templates, and shared drives; ensure files are current and accessible
- Support onboarding/offboarding checklists, equipment orders, and access requests
- Liaise with vendors; manage small purchases, renewals, and office supplies (as applicable)
- Create light reports or slide decks; capture action items and track to completion
- Protect confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all interactions
Requirements
- 1–3+ years in administrative, coordinator, or operations support (startup/SaaS a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication; professional, friendly, and responsive
- Strong organization and time-management skills; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack, and Zoom
- Comfortable working remotely and coordinating across multiple stakeholders
- High integrity, discretion, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Nice to have: Experience with basic bookkeeping/expenses (e.g., Ramp/Brex), HRIS/ATS tools, Notion or Monday.com, and light event coordination.
